The Pletz lighting collection presents modernist forms with a traditional sense of material and craft. Pletz lamps combine lathe-turned, hardwood elements, hand-applied finishes, solid brass hardware and natural linen shades. The designers draw inspiration from the sculptural traditions of artists like Brancusi and Noguchi and the seductive surfaces of Art Deco interiors. Pletz is the husband and wife team of Aaron & Heather Shoon. We operate from our studio in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

Geraldine Blanchot 04 TX
Geraldine Blanchot and Kristen Dettoni started pattern Pod in early 2013. They met while working at True Textiles, and over the years formed a bond that revolves around their love of design, color and just being together and having fun. While working as designers, they noticed that they had an incredibly high output for designing, producing over 300 designs a year each. Customers only had placements for about 10% of the designs produced and the remaining 90% of the designs were shelved, leaving thousands of dollars left behind. The reason for the volume is simply to provide options and variety, so what do you do with the remaining 90%, you start a bus

I am a freelance illustrator based in a beautiful little village outside of New York City. I've loved drawing and painting for as long as I can remember and I'm thrilled to get to do it every day! My paintings are inspired by the everyday small things I see. I tend to paint with gouache but I happily throw in some acrylic, pastel, pencil or papers into the mix, and a bit of Photoshop sometimes too. I spent many years after graduating from RISD as a textile stylist designing prints for children's clothing and lingerie. - See more at:
