Halstead Grant
The Halstead Grant is an annual award for emerging silver jewelry artists. Applicants submit answers to 15 business questions in addition to their design portfolios. The experience is designed to help jewelry entrepreneurs create a strategy to kick-start their careers. The grant consists of $7,500 in start-up capital and $1,000 in merchandise as well as recognition in the industry. The deadline is August 1st each year.

MJSA Education Foundation Scholarship Group
The Scholarship Group consists of five permanent endowment funds managed by the Rhode Island Community Foundation on behalf of MJSA and the Foundation. Money generated by these funds provides support to U.S. students enrolled in jewelry design, jewelry making, or other jewelry-related degree programs at colleges, universities, and technical schools. Several awards of $500 to $2,000 are given every year.

Worcester Center for Crafts
-- The Resident Artist program of the Worcester Center for Crafts is a one to two year appointment designed to meet the needs of pre-professional craft artists by providing studio space, facilities, and guidance, within a supportive studio community. Residencies are offered in Clay, Glass, and Metal studios. Resident Artists contribute through the focused pursuit of their creative work, teaching, and studio support roles, while acting as mentors and actively participating in the diverse studio communities that make up the Craft Center.

Haystack Mountain School of Crafts
-- Haystack Mountain School of Crafts is an international craft school located on the Atlantic Ocean in Deer Isle, Maine. The school offers intensive studio-based workshops in a variety of craft media including clay, glass, metals, paper, blacksmithing, weaving, woodworking and more. Programs range from short workshops to two-week sessions and anyone may participate, from beginners to advanced professionals.
