This shows how to troubleshoot an Ansible task whereby you need to install a PHP 7 module that isn't available by updating your Ubuntu ppa repositories by including the ondrej/php repository which is likely to contain any necessary php modules.

Boto 3 Documentation — Boto 3 Docs 1.7.80 documentation
Excellent library to use the AWS CLI but with a Python library wrapping it. If you hate using the Bash Shell script to work with AWS CLI and love Python 2.7 then use this library.

So far, I've tried it for the following services:

- EC2
- S3
- Scaling Groups
- SSM

fileglob - list files matching a pattern — Ansible Documentation
This is for matching files but only locally. That is only in the machine that's running the ansible playbook.

To be able to find files matching a certain pattern on a remote host use the find module.

How do I use remote machine's SSH keys in ansible git module - Stack Overflow
This example uses the standard: git@github.com:path/to/repo.git path that isn't obvious from the official documentation. Also, if it you're trying to clone a repo for the first time make sure to set: accept_hostkey: yes or else it won't work. Additionally, the path specified by dest will be where the files will be downloaded to. That is, it won't create a new directory in addition to the path pointed to by dest.

find - Return a list of files based on specific criteria — Ansible Documentation
Forget about using wildcard expresions like: somefile*.txt or anything like that on the copy, template, command or shell modules.

If you need to find certain files matching a wildcard or regex pattern use this module instead and then capture the output in a variable.

Then you can use the variable to iterate through found files in tandem with the command and/or shell modules.

lineinfile - Manage lines in text files — Ansible Documentation
The difference between this module and the search and replace module is that the Line in File Module can be used to check the existence of text as well as to replace text, but it only works well for single line replacements. For multi-line replacements use the search and replace module instead.

Ansible - Creating users and copying ssh keypair files to the remote server
This is a good example of how to use an Ansible playbook to create users, add them to one or more user groups, and give them passwords on a Linux system from a list of users (denoted as variables) and how to create .ssh directories for them. It's a good start. Works on Ubuntu 16.04 It also shows how to create a user group too.

Welcome to the Click Documentation — Click Documentation (5.0)
I tried Click with Python 2.7 and it's pretty good for situations where you build commandline scripts that prompt user for input. It takes a little bit to get your head around its weird conventions to use decorators (statements starting with '@' sign):

E.g.
@click.command()
@click.option(...)
