find - Return a list of files based on specific criteria — Ansible Documentation
Forget about using wildcard expresions like: somefile*.txt or anything like that on the copy, template, command or shell modules.

If you need to find certain files matching a wildcard or regex pattern use this module instead and then capture the output in a variable.

Then you can use the variable to iterate through found files in tandem with the command and/or shell modules.

The command: ps auxw | grep nginx seems to work on Ubuntu 16.04 for showing the PIDS of all of the worker processes for Nginx.

find dir1 -name '*.mp3' -print will do it. -name and -iname are case-sensitive and case-insensitive matches for find.

Linux or Unix find and remove files with one find command on fly
find . -name "FILE-TO-FIND"-exec rm -rf {} \; was a helpful command to search a directory hierarchy and remove all instances of a hidden file (".svn") in one fell swoop. Excellent command.
