The Paradox Series
This is Sherlock Holmes (BBC version, anyway) to me: brilliant, crazy, totally out of touch with our reality but trying trying to live his life without fucking everything up anyway. He’s not normal – far beyond normal, in fact- but he can still fall in love, still care about doing the right thing – all in his own way. He’s not Moiriorty, but he’s not John either, and Wordstrings pegs him dead center for how I think he is. Wordstrings gives a shape and color and weight to his character and world view that I just couldn’t come up with on my own, but that fit perfectly to me. Some stories contain suicidal thoughts and actions.

Crimes Against humanity series by seperis - SGA, fic, John/Rodney
Atlantis was a neutral colony before it became a prison camp, split between the mainland facilities and the ocean bound city itself for the war criminals and those convicted of crimes against humanity. Alcatraz, he'd heard Sheppard drawl when he arrived in the gateroom, manacled and bruised from a scuffle in the Colorado gate room that ended with four injured Marines. Inescapable, or so they said, but Sheppard's single word reminded him that nothing's inescapable.

Diplomatic Efforts by ninhursag - Star Trek 2009, fic, Kirk
Kirk turned tricks when he was younger, so when it becomes apparent that some seducing is needed, he 'volunteers'. Spock is uneasy in the beginning and tries to reason with Kirk. And we all know how that goes. Dark!fic, noncon, really angsty, hints at Kirk/Spock/Uhura. Really supportive Spock and Uhura.
