Data point: Until a few days ago, iPad on iOS 11, iPhone on iOS 10, Mac on macOS 10.12. iMessage worked fine, never, ever saw anything to complain about. Now, iPhone on iOS 11, iMessage constantly buzzing my phone to show me things I saw *minutes ago* on iPad or Mac. WTF.
