All the people complaining of the @Flickr changes and are leaving are probably the ones that will make Flickr a better community when they leave.

Hope y’all enjoy Google Photos’ compression and watching your original/uncompressed photos disappear.

The new limit is 5 times more than the free user limit of 200 before Yahoo unwisely gave free users a full terabyte. I agree with @Flickr that the change will help them keep users as the priority rather than the product. 4of4

I’ve actually wished a Twitter had a separate “like” and “fave” function. The former to work just like Facebook’s like button, and the latter for saving tweets to access later. 2of2

Uhg. The thing is, I have NEVER used the tool as a “like” indicator. Even after they changed it, it’s always been a “fave” tool for me. I don’t go around hitting like on tweets because all my “likes” are actually an archive of tweets I may want to return to. 1of2 https://t.co/jx4fHKITDx

I wonder if @CNETNews has done any research on the use of the vague kicker-style subheads as their tweets instead of the actual headline. Does it draw more clicks? I guarantee I click far less often. I don’t click through to stories if I don’t have a fair idea what they’re about.

I’m so accustomed to @Twitterrific’s algorithm for quietly honing a thumbnail to center around a detected face, I feel a jarring “what happened” moment whenever other apps don’t do it. Seems like something that should be baked in at the OS level.
