Apple could have provided an exit to Adobe. Something like Aperture Exporter that would have provided Adobe with more accessible metadata. Maybe even a readable recipe for reapplying edits. They chose not to do that.

I've been patient ... but text editing in iOS 13.3 is a regression from iOS 12 and nowhere near as good as iOS 6. And even iOS 6 text editing is way behind anything ever on a Mac since macOS Classic 1.

... Password Assistant was a "simple" compiled AppleScript app that used Apple's otherwise inaccessible built-in macOS OS X password generator. It was last updated May 24, 2006. It's 32 bit code and won't run on Catalina ...

So when I bought Quicken for Mac it let me create investment accounts. Then they created multiple tiers. Just realized today to create a new investment account I have to move up a tier. Basically a price increase that they kind of hid away. Argh.

Quicken Mac is having a rocky Catalina transition. Suspect legacy 32 bit code and low sales. Importing Quicken 2007 and Quicken Windows can’t be done locally, needs “cloud service”.

I connected directly to my comcast router and there's no problem with xfinity/comcast. It looks like the problem is with my Apple Airport Extreme. Which was recently updated with an Apple security patch. It's breaking Google's 3rd party OAUTH mechanism for MarsEdit.

Audio calls on my work t-mobile iPhone XR are horrible. Did some testing and at home quality is acceptable if I *disable* Wi-Fi calling (default for us is enabled). The opposite of what I'd expect on my high quality home wifi/broadband. Anyone else see this?

Between iOS 11 and 12 Apple removed key features from parental control for web. I think it was Apple’s way of saying “just turn off the web”. Which is what I now recommend for parents and caregivers of vulnerable adults.
