15 Dip Station Exercises You Should Try - YouTube
► The dip station I use in this video: https://amzn.to/2C0MZiB ► My recommend home equipment: https://youtu.be/7w05hWAim-U If you have a dip station and have been wondering what all you can use it for, this video is a great place to start. These 15 dip station exercises are plenty to keep you going for a while. I display the exercises in a progressive manner and break them down by movement type so you can gradually build strength as you learn them. Truth be told, this is not everything you can do on dip bars, but it's plenty to keep you busy for a long time if you're still a beginner. You can even construct an entire dip station workout with these exercises. I'd recommend using at least one exercise from each movement category (push, core, pull and legs ). Do them either as sets and reps for strength, or in a circuit format for muscular endurance and fat loss. I hope you can use this video to do more with your dip bars and take your calisthenics home workout to the next level. Let me know what else you want to see in future videos. 5 Intermittent Fasting Mistakes I Made (That You Should Avoid) - YouTube
In this video I explain the 5 biggest intermittent fasting mistakes I made throughout my first year. I did a lot of things wrong when I first started. I think it's because of the misconception that a lot of people have that intermittent fasting is a foolproof way to drop weight and get shredded. It doesn't work that way. There are certain intermittent fasting rules that must be adhered to if you want to see it work. Specifically, the 5 mistakes I made and talk about in this video are: 1) Fear of losing muscle mass while fasting 2) Binge eating after the fast 3) Never extending the fast 4) Relying on caffeine 5) Lacking will power In addition to talking through all of these points, I also went off on a little diatribe about the HFLC keto diet (I'm really not a fan of that diet; I feel it lacks logic to drastically reduce carbs for ketosis) and I also go into a pretty detailed explanation of how I cultivate will power for staying on the fast for as long as I set out to (and this technique can be applied to nearly anything requiring strong will). If you want to experience all the benefits of intermittent fasting and lose weight, maintain muscle mass and improve longevity, listening to what I have to say in this video will most likely benefit you and save you a lot of wasted time, especially if you're new to intermittent fasting. I made all these mistakes in the last year and half and I want to make sure you don't make the same mistakes too! Beginner Calisthenics Tips | 10 Things I've Learned So Far - YouTube
The equipment I recommended: Foam roller - https://amzn.to/2uczhpD hand-held massager: https://amzn.to/2uiBn76 You can also follow me here: Instagram: https://goo.gl/7n5Nmn Facebook: https://goo.gl/ZdJL3H In this video I talk about 10 beginner calisthenics tips I wish someone would've told me when I first started. Some of the concepts I talk about are progressive overload, relative strength, grip strength, flexibility, mobility, myofascial release and more! As a beginner to calisthenics, it's easy to get overwhelmed with all the information out there and exciting skills to pursue, so simple concepts like this are often overlooked. I also see a lot of people chasing "gains" and eating frequently in a caloric surplus, which - in my experience - will only work against you if done too often. I hope the tips I give in this video are helpful to you in your journey. Let me know if you want more details on any of the topics I covered! -Ryan ––– Buddha by Kontekst https://ift.tt/1XaJBH7 Creative Commons — Attribution 3.0 Unported— CC BY 3.0 https://ift.tt/15faYU2... 3 Calisthenics Skills All Beginners Should Learn - YouTube
In this video I explain 3 beginner calisthenics skills that everyone should pursue as soon as they start. Calisthenics skill training is when you branch out beyond the basic calisthenics exercises (push ups, pull ups, dips, squats, lunges) and start learning unique movements that require frequent practice. The 3 skills I recommend in this video are the frog stand, tucked front lever and L-sit. These skill are great for beginner training. If you've been following my channel and seen my beginner calisthenics workout routine, you know I recommend having "active rest days" on the days you don't do the circuits. Well, these skills are perfect to practice on those active rest days. My home fitness equipment: Dip station: https://amzn.to/2C0MZiB Parallettes: https://amzn.to/2LPtTRg Pull-Up Bar: https://amzn.to/2COAnN8 Fitness Bands: https://amzn.to/2RvUVSS Also note that each of the 3 skills work different scapular movements: frogstand - protraction, tucked front lever - retraction, L-sit - depression. Since these are all using different movements of the shoulder girdle, you can work them all in the same routine without one affecting the progress of another too much. See? There's a method to my madness :) My Frogstand Tutorial: https://youtu.be/H2S91-UtFeY My L-Sit Tutorial: https://youtu.be/Y52Yv57UJ_8 My Beginner Routine: https://youtu.be/ay15dc2cvm0 My vlog gear: Camera: https://amzn.to/2Cb8NbJ Tripod: https://amzn.to/2BZ3sUG Lapel Mic: https://amzn.to/2F6kyTA Music: Not Too Cray - Huma-Huma https://youtu.be/ED8ZDdInNtw
