SmugMug has prided itself on having very photographer-friendly terms without some of the standard verbiage and licenses that many platforms grant themselves to use your data in a way that best suits them. This is one of the reasons we’re thrilled to have found a new home at SmugMug.

I need a Thinkorswim developer to provide thinkscript commands for a study filter - Freelance Job in Other - Data Science & Analytics - $40 Fixed Price, posted October 15, 2017 - Upwork
I am using the following script in a study filter in Thinkorswim:

close is greater than ATRTrailingStop("atr period" = 20) and close from 1 bars ago is less than or equal to ATRTrailingStop("atr period" = 20) from 1 bars ago

This scan yields stocks for which price has crossed above (i.e., reversed) the average true range (ATR) trailing stop for the selected aggregation period (e.g., daily).  I need language that will limit the results to stocks that had previously been below the ATR for at least 20 bars.

ATR Trailing Stop
The ATR Trailing Stop is one way to limit losses and protect profits. A stop loss order is set a multiple of the Average True Range (ATR) away from the current stock price. As the price moves in the trade’s favor, the stop ratchets along with, always calculated from a better closing prices and never from worse closing prices. This mostly keeps from giving ground once its protected by the stop, except in the case of increasing volatility as measured by the ATR.
In backtesting, the ATR Trailing Stop reflects each stock’s unique daily price range.  Hence it can fit each stock better than a dollar trailing stop or even a percentage trailing stop.
As with all trailing stops, the ATR trail never exits at the extreme of a movement. Hence it always gives back some of the profits.
The ATR stop amount can be subtracted from either the high, the close, or the low of the day.    Each variation gives slightly different results.    The important concept is to match the stop distance to the stock’s volatility and to move it along with improving prices.

Incredible Charts: Volatility Stops
Welles Wilder's system uses Closing Price and incorporates a stop-and-reverse feature (as with his Parabolic SAR).

Determine the initial trend direction
Calculate the Significant Close ("SIC"): the highest close reached in an up-trend or the lowest close in a down-trend
Calculate Average True Range ("ATR") for the selected period (7 days in this example)
Multiply ATR by the Multiple (3.0 in this example)
The first stop is calculated in day 7 and plotted for day 8
If an up-trend, the first stop is SIC - 3 * ATR, otherwise SIC + 3 * ATR for a down-trend
Repeat each day until price closes below the stop (or above in a down-trend)
Set SIC equal to the latest Close, reverse the trend and continue.

surprise out-of-network medical bills

All that changed in March 2014, when CSS, through the Health Care for All New York (HCFANY) coalition, successfully partnered with the New York State Department of Financial Services to craft the strongest consumer protection law in the nation to shield consumers from out-of-network surprise medical bills.

Holds consumers harmless from out-of-network emergency bills and non-emergency claims where an in-network provider isn’t available or proper disclosures about network status are not made.

wwltv.com | BuyER Beware: Patients fight surprise medical bills
“I call Ochsner; Ochsner says that's not from us,” Ricks said. “That's from another doctor's group. I said, 'Explain.' She said, 'Well, just because you were in Ochsner's emergency room, which is in my network, doesn't mean that the doctors are employees of Ochsner. Some of them are contract labor.” ...
A year ago, Lisa Ricks was rushed to Ochsner’s West Bank emergency room after accidentally stabbing herself in the eye with the end of a metal broomstick.

It was extremely painful, but she got expert care at her in-network hospital, paid a $200 copay and was back out at parades in time to enjoy Mardi Gras 2016. The eye patch she had to wear almost fit in with the zany Carnival costumes and soon her vision was back to normal.

She wasn’t blinded, but about nine months later, she was blindsided – by a $585 doctor’s bill.

Some of them are contract labor.”

Ricks sells supplemental medical insurance, so she knows the process. But she wasn’t prepared for something called “balance billing,” charges for uncovered services at in-network medical facilities. It’s a problem that’s getting more attention as more people with private insurance go on high-deductible health plans, forcing them to confront billing issues that used to be handled behind the scenes by insurance.

A recent survey by Yale University researchers published in the New England Journal of Medicine found that a whopping 22 percent of in-network hospital visits include some sort of out-of-network charge. Often, those bills come from independent physicians’ groups that provide anesthesiologists or other specialists to hospitals on a contract basis, to supplement in-house staff at emergency departments.

Illinois, Colorado, Texas, New York and Florida have managed to rein in this type of balance billing

The Early-Decision Racket - The Atlantic
2001! FALLOWS WAY AHEAD OF HIS TIME

In ED programs students start their senior year ready to choose the one college they would most like to attend, and having already taken their SATs. An early applicant is allowed to make only one ED application, and it is due in the beginning or the middle of November. The college has about a month to deliberate and responds by mid-December. If the answer is no, the student has two weeks to send out regular applications to schools on his or her backup list. If the answer is yes, the process is over, because by virtue of applying early, the student has promised to attend the college if accepted. How is this enforced? Mainly through counselors, who know when a student has been admitted ED and agree not to send official transcripts to other schools.

Hamilton College, in upstate New York, took 70 percent of the earlies and 43 percent of the regulars.

Masters: Patrick Reed's estranged family endures complex mix of emotions | Golf.com
"During a qualifying round prior to a tournament, according to sources close to the team, Reed hit a ball far into the rough. When he approached the spot, he found another ball sitting closer to the fairway, and was preparing to hit it when several of his teammates confronted him. Reed pleaded ignorance, but the other Georgia players were convinced he had been caught red-handed trying to cheat."

Masters: Patrick Reed's controversial past, high and lows | Golf.com
t accusations of Reed cheating and stealing from teammates. Reed denied the accusations in a Golf Channel interview, saying he was dismissed for alcohol violations.

More recently, at Bay Hill last month, Reed was looking for free relief after a shot into the bushes, but an official wouldn't grant one. "I guess my name needs to be Jordan Spieth, guys," he said to the gallery, which was picked up by a fan who was filming. While this seemed all in good fun, as Reed took a shot at his longtime Ryder Cup partner, it did radiate a touch of frustration.

Reed has been estranged from his parents and younger sister for years now.
