BSAG » Pandocomatic and Scrivomatic
I’m a long-time user of Pandoc to produce most kinds of document, but this week I have been trying out a couple of linked systems — Pandocomatic and Scrivomatic — which aim to tidy up your Pandoc workflow, and make it quicker to produce the kinds of output you need.

How to Use MultiMarkdown and Scrivener for Efficient Blogging
We write a lot of content here at Asian Efficiency – and most of it is pretty darn awesome. Each article takes at least a couple hours of work, involving planning, research and writing. There is one more process on top of that, and that is converting text into a presentable HTML format in WordPress. We used to manually to do the markup for our articles, which took up a lot of valuable time… so, we looked for a more efficient way of converting text into HTML.

Melding Scrivener and Marked - Hiltmon
If you are a regular reader of this blog, you will know that I do all my writing using Markdown format, short-form in Byword, long-form in Scrivener and generate the final document using Marked.

In short: I write all my work documents, including letters, reports and software documentation in Markdown formatted text files and then format them using Marked and a standard stylesheet (See Letterhead - Markdown Style for how that works). See The Markdown Payoff for why.

Scrivener 2.0 Support
Drag a Scrivener project (.scriv) to Marked and it will be compiled and previewed. If you choose the option to open .scriv files in Scrivener (above), Marked will also launch Scrivener when you drag the file to Marked.

Mac Blog Workflow - Scrivener, Markdown, Textmate (video)
I use Scrivener to write, because it’s great for writing (that particularly delicate convergence of headspace, motivation and creativity that’s so damn hard to follow through on since you’ve found smush cat face). It’s got the fullscreen writing, the organization, the customizable typography… I like it a lot and wrote about writing with scrivener before.
