"But the best and I suspect most original part of the new logo by the in house ITV Creative team, working with Rudd Studio and Fontsmith is the colour-picking function that allows it to take on the colours of whatever action it is superimposed upon.

It seems to me to be in every way the very model of a modern logo. Unfortunately that includes a maladroit launch showcasing its worst and dullest incarnation. It seems that every time an important new logo is launched, it is communicated in tedious marketing clichés which fail to inspire or even reflect either the thinking behind it or the way it will be used in the future."
