Possible to use ultrashort pulse lasers to manipulate refractive indexes in something like diamond, such that you create artificial event horizons and a resonant cavity, allowing the replication of a resonant cavity between black/white hole event horizons. While this is theoretical, based on certain models, the proposed methodology appears to be feasible for experimentation now, using grown artificial diamond waveguides as an experiment start point.
