Wantedly, Inc. (ウォンテッドリー株式会社)
Hypercasual recruiting platform. Essentially arranging site visits/conversations with company employees so an applicant can get a good culture fit sense of a prospective employer, and vice versa. Not those super stiff mensetsu HR interviews.

Helping People Find Jobs and Local Businesses Hire | Facebook Newsroom
This is a good idea, addressing a gaping hole in the job recruiting universe beyond LinkedIn (and taking advantage of the fact that Facebook has become a psuedo-LinkedIn in other countries such as Japan), but some people will class this as a blue collar/low skill "LinkedIn for poor people" move. There's also the risk that this might also accelerate the race to the bottom for low pay jobs, inducing a "Zero Hours" style scenario as an endgame.

Aura: An IoT based Cloud Infrastructure for Localized Mobile Computation Outsourcing
In the vein of MapReduce, a distributed computing framework suitable for using idle CPU time on IoT devices. As one person aptly put it, now your lightbulbs can mine bitcoins for the chinese.

東京大学大学院 情報理工学系研究科 創造情報学専攻 稲葉真理研究室(マリ研)
A professor griping over the restrictiveness of the Google NDA during student interviews. At first glance it seems he is trying to be protective of students, saying the NDA prevents former students or former applicants from helping current students, and to get students to force Google to execute reciprocal NDA's regarding explaining the student's research. But the reality is that Google is simply threatening the status quo regarding personal network influence between employers and professors. This is by design, as Google is methodically gaming the system to their advantage. The professor is also complaining about the onesidedness of the NDA situation, because he rightfully fears leaking of discoveries/methodology/ideas to Google. In japan, professors frequently retain intellectual rights to most if not all their research, leading them to start side companies selling the best results of their research. Thus there is a personal money stake in lost opportunities...
