An interesting takeaway is the thesis that HUD notifications compete for language processing time in the visual cortex due to unconscious tendency to process language. This might imply text notifications are worse than iconography, but what about situations where single word characters exist like in japanese/chinese? Is that language processing, or iconography pattern matching?

Conceptually similar to, but is not, an eyetap AREMAC. Actually, this would work well for the inner portion of an eyetap, as the gaze tracking provides an additional UI input separate from head tilt and voice commands.

Apparently they have somehow moved the display optics lens from an external lightguide prism/lens/optic that sits in front of the eye to a contact lens on the eye. Not the actual display itself though, like some form of transparent OLED printed on a contact lens (which unfortunately has data/power transfer issues).
