Fat People Are Unhealthy - YouTube
"obesity is a disease!" //&! Why I'm Against "Fat Acceptance" - youtu.be/I0Mq4Kz3vng ... "Who do I want to be? [...] Since I've been this since childhood, I have not known & do not know any different. [...] shame does not help anybody." //&! Fooled [Mark Twain quote]. Hoodwinked. Exploited. PPL who are not aware of the SYSTEM WHICH IS RIGGED AGAINST THEM, are rightfully angry (anger directed partly towards themselves, blindly, and the status quo ... 'dare you to shame me, look around you ... I am not the only one!') for being fat shamed, to a certain extent. U can put the material in front of them, but they dont change if they dont snap 180 degrees intellectually: Enlightenment. Curtains revealed & they grasp the extent of the RIGGED SYSTEM. Getting Some 'Me' Time: Why Millennials Are So Individualistic : NPR
The 2014 Clark Established Adult Poll found that the top three markers for adulthood were accepting responsibility for self, financial independence and making independent decisions. Twenge first encountered this rise in individualism when she was doing a project on gender roles in the 1990s. Both women and men scored high on this masculine scale that includes highly individualistic traits, such as being independent, relying on yourself, being a leader, etc. Twenge began studying other traits such as self-esteem and extroversion and recognized a pattern that these traits were all increasing over time. "You have emerging adulthood — taking more time to find yourself in your 20s," Twenge says. "By definition that is an individualistic pursuit. 'I want to have that time to myself before I settle down.' That is one that is unknown in traditional collectivist societies." [... thus, give people time, no turbo abi ...]

Memo to my daughter: “Keep your eye on the ball and hit hard” | PandoDaily
What I love about Abramson’s [...] she’s named it, she’s owned it, but she doesn’t make herself a victim. She knows she lives in a sexist world and that makes her victories– and even her defeats– that much sweeter. This is how we should talk about women in the world. Not stupid debates about having it all. Taking the world as it exists, naming it, shrugging, and continuing to fight. // +++ // http://www.newrepublic.com/article/118735/problem-esquires-praise-42-year-old-women-amy-poehler "entrenched short-sightedness and sexist cruelty of male-controlled media [...] Yay, thanks for some crumbs of enlightened thinking, for some slightly nuanced improvements in the daily, punishing business of publicly evaluating and then reevaluating women’s worth. [...] 'I don’t fucking care if you like it.' [...] Social Media [frictionless, not thinking twice or setting something aside for a day]. [Women's] life['s and worth's] are up for public evaluation. BBC Sport - World Cup 2014: Brazil cracked up, says Germany's Joachim Low
w/o Thiago Silva, Luiz was incapable 2 pickup Leadership role, commanding, directing, organising the game. It wasnt just Neymar missing. It was a team w/o leadership. Youve got 11 world players on both sides. But a team w/o a leader, vision, direction, playbook is a incomplete team. A house of cards that was the Brazilian Team, (many around 1-2 key players - philosophy) fell apart. http://bbc.in/1mHpAHB + http://bbc.in/U39yeN "Scolari bounded off the team coach wearing a white "Forca Neymar" baseball cap while captain David Luiz and goalkeeper Julio Cesar held up his number 10 shirt during the national anthem. Fine sentiments perhaps, but also a sign of overwrought emotions, of the pressure of playing without their superstar and the doubts that exposed. The constant hugging and team bonding smacked more of insecurity and posturing. Germany in contrast were cold, clinical, magnificent." http://bbc.in/1znN7l3 http://bit.ly/1oix4ML + "the trophy doesnt say great team, it says 'winners.'"

I only hope Michael Schumacher pulls through so that he can see all the nice things people are saying about him - Telegraph
For years Michael was the perfect pantomime villain, particularly in this country; German, of course, ruthlessly efficient, ultra-aggressive. Whereas previous greats such as Sir Jackie Stewart or Juan Manuel Fangio left the door open to their rivals when racing, for fear of making what could easily have been fatal contact, Michael went all out in his pursuit of victory. Sometimes he overstepped the mark – Jerez in 1997 and Rascasse in 2006 spring to mind – and those indiscretions made him unpalatable to the sporting purist. He was marked down by some, including me, as a tainted champion. But you cannot argue with his achievements. [...] [Sebastian Vettel is the same type of athlete. going always for the gap.] [...] He had complete and utter self-belief. It was what made him a champion. [without arrogance] [confidence and trust in ones abilities]
