Neat to see this offered as a service - one of the coolest meetings in Seattle Labs was our project support workshop, which was similar to this, though without a coach. That meeting was shockingly useful, and I imagine having a coach present would be even better.

Some sorts of problems produce an embarrassment of riches. e.g. Bell Labs basically invented half of modern computing. I think it's down to the structure of the problem they faced, and there are plenty more problems like it.

@Kirsten3531 I believe the ocean’s surface has a slightly ellipsoidal shape when viewed over the whole earth, and is elongated in the direction of the moon and sun (I guess the effects combine ~additively?). over the course of a day the earth rotates while the ellipsoid’s shape remains ~fixed
