xkcd - A webcomic
Note: You are welcome to reprint occasional comics pretty much anywhere (presentations, papers, blogs with ads, etc). If you're not outright merchandizing, you're probably fine. Just be sure to attribute the comic to xkcd.com. Can we print xkcd in our magazine/newspaper/other publication?
If it's a not-for-profit publication, you need no permission -- just print them with attribution to xkcd.com. You can post xkcd in your blog (whether ad-supported or not) with no need to get my permission.

This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 2.5 License.

This means that you are free to copy and reuse any of my drawings (noncommercially) as long as you tell people where they're from.

That is, you don't need my permission to post these pictures on your website (and hotlinking with <img> is fine); just include a link back to this page. Or you can make Livejournal icons from them, but -- if possible -- put xkcd.com in the comment field. You can use them freely (with some kind of link) in not-for-profit publications, and I'm also okay with people reprinting occasional comics (with clear attribution) in publications like books, blogs, newsletters, and presentations. If you're not sure whether your use is noncommercial, feel free to email me and ask (if you're not sure, it's probably okay).

We’ve all Been Cheating off of Andrew Sutherland for Years :: millennialentrepreneurs.com
As a junior in high school, Sutherland wanted to do better on a French test, so tackled this seemingly unsolvable problem with a group of friends once for us all. With origins so humble and familiar, it’s startling that Quizlet has grown into a small company that helps tens of millions of students representing all ages prepare for their tests. That 15-year-old who aced French test brought his brilliant solution with him to MIT where it eventually became the small San Francisco company it is today. Sutherland demonstrates that “nailing the problem” is what’s most important when growing an idea into a business. Quizlet remains focused on serving as many students as possible with a largely free software solution.

Hoaka Swimwear :: millennialentrepreneurs.com
Instagram is being taken by storm by the young entrepreneur, Elisabeth Rioux. She now has 1.7 million followers and that number is still growing. She was only 18 when she started her bathing suit company, Hoaka Swimwear. Her goal for this company is to inspire body positivity. She made it her mission to create an atmosphere for all women to feel good in their own skin and in her swimsuits. One way she does this is by having girls model her swimwear, who all have different body types. This breaks the mold of the typical swimsuit model, showing girls that anyone can be beautiful in their own skin. This is how Elisabeth has branded her company, which has most certainly paid off.

Helen Greiner is the c0-founder of iRobot, which she helped to start as a result of her interest in robots. Greiner’s enthusiasm for these intriguing machines came from her fondness for R2-D2 in Star Wars and her desire to create something between a robot and a computer, similar to the one that her dad would bring home from work
