Top result is a scam that tries to charge you for front-running a free USPS service. The real government agency even bought an ad on the keyword themselves and they're still not on top. pic.twitter.com/spvhmPOPSA

You may have noticed the loosened requirements in the first tweet in this thread are the inverse of the normal requirements as documented in the documentation docs.

(“Older SDKs” means pre-10.9 SDK, since the 10.9 SDK changed the code signing format) https://t.co/Xqjv121LfX pic.twitter.com/gaDfCKNOgq

People have asked for a document describing Swift's C-to-Swift name translation for a while. Here's a start, featuring enums and swift_wrapper structs! https://t.co/42rv5hMpXu

The Zerodium CEO said "the zero-day market is so flooded by iOS exploits" that they are now refusing them

Also, check out this statement regarding iOS security.

Many security researchers have asked Apple to remove iMessage. Now, even exploit brokers are making fun of iMessage pic.twitter.com/9W9iAoZyZz

All software signed after a June 1st, 2019 must still be notarized, by default, on macOS Catalina, but some of the requirements to get an “Accepted” response have been loosened until Jan 2020 (when I get back from Japan). 1/nhttps://t.co/7WfkkMvfyd pic.twitter.com/ziC4Fz3Yn4

It’s totally crazy for google to get away with charging what’s basically protection money on your own brand name. “Nice high intend traffic you got there, would be a shame if something were to happen to it” https://t.co/kcZdA9lFjD

When Google puts 4 paid ads ahead of the first organic result for your own brand name, you’re forced to pay up if you want to be found. It’s a shakedown. It’s ransom. But at least we can have fun with it. Search for Basecamp and you may see this attached ad. pic.twitter.com/c0oYaBuahL

OMG the Safari Extensions Gallery is gone already! When they said September, I assumed it would be late September with Catalina release, not September 3!

1 week's notice to developers, no notice to users. https://t.co/vun4J5eeQx

Interesting but unsurprising news: it appears most/all of the iCloud Drive improvements announced at WWDC (pinned files that remain downloaded locally, shared folders) will have to wait until iOS 13.2 at the earliest.

iCloud Drive is simply far too important for it to be buggy. https://t.co/6cSwMUOllQ

For those who missed my original Tweet: Obj-C and Swift can only call each others public functions a framework.

You can convince Obj-C to see Swift internal functions by manually creating a header. Getting Swift to see internal Obj-C functions is... much more painful.

Apple folks, there’s FB7197601.

Everyone else: https://t.co/i7ZIyyAoUC

If you’re using UIImagePickerController in your app, test it on a DEVICE running 13.1 now, or you’re in for a surprise. The FB above contains a workaround.

In a similar vein, Apple Music has ruined the music app for me. Every so often it will give you a huge full screen add which takes several seconds to actually render on my SE.

I wish Apple News+ wasn’t so prominent and spammy. I don’t want it. It has 1/3rd of the button real estate and I see constant ads for it in the News app. It kind of ruined Apple News for me.

macOS Catalina beta 7 reverts to iCloud Drive setup from macOS Mojave. Unfortunately, it keeps outdated symlinks from betas 1–6 which prevent app folders from working. https://t.co/yAOG2zDcEd
