Apple forgot to tell us that the iPhone XS Max Home Screen icons are upscaled from 180x180px (60x60 pt) to 192x192 px (64x64 pt). Also there’s no way to provide an iOS 12 64x64 pt icon assets.

It’s cool how Apple Music in iTunes is just a web view so when you hit space it’s like a lottery: Will it play/pause? Will it scroll? It’s anyone’s guess!

I had this theory that watchOS bitcode requirement was due to an upcoming upgraded to the CPU architecture, while keeping the ABI.

Series 5 is a new architecture (ARM64), with the old ABI. And it magically works, Apple even has a tool: pic.twitter.com/gRxZibZ46Q

Pretty happy people are calling out the bizarre rhetoric around Marzipan. I’m hopeful it’ll be great, but a replacement it is not. https://t.co/x6Fi3ZRFwV

The interface overall is *weird* and difficult to acclimate to, but Sublime Merge has the best approach to resolving Git conflicts I've ever seen.

The lack of fixes around Boot Camp (no eGPU support, Mojave dropping support for it on some Macs) makes me wonder if Boot Camp is abandoned or going to be abandon by Apple. Would be kind of a shame.

seeing how they’re willing to deprecate foundational stuff like OpenGL, it’s hard to understand why they keep pretending they support PDF forms. I bet they will just disable form fields in the future and recommend the Apple Pencil on an iPad.

You’d think the problems would be fixable. I didn’t have any of these problems before the PDFKit rewrite.

So unreliable. I was just filling out a form in Preview and text kept jumping around the page, changing sizes, randomly becoming not editable until the app was relaunched. Crashes, too.

"Why does CS count from 0? Nobody does that."

How many years old are you during your first year of life?

At what age do you enter your second decade?

Are we in the 20th century or the 21st century?
