Haptic Touch previews on iPad most of the time ends up being smaller than the view you are previewing. 🤷‍♂️

It’s the most Apple-y thing ever that you can only access App Store Rejections via the email link, and the page *looks* like it’s readily accessible with a back button and heirarchy, but if you go back it doesn’t exist anymore. 😆

... I remember being in the audience at MacWorld when Jobs introduced the phone to the world. People went nuts when he introduced the revolutionary device. I was working on it, so I wasn't surprised, but I was shocked when he called it the iPhone.

Before the iPhone was released, we were speculating what it would be called. I just called it "the device". Of course, all us developers knew it wasn't going to be called the 'iPhone' because Cisco owned the trademark, even though it made the most sense based on naming schemes...

Long story short but ... “Never ever log out of iCloud”. It breaks almost everything and there is no real documentation about how to fix it.

I did thanks to some support posts but it was guesswork

This is not an “it just works” moment @AppleSupport

Awesome in theory, but in practice there aren't a lot of places you can drag that image. For example, you can't drag it into websites to upload, or into menu bar apps.

So exclusive to arcade within the Apple ecosystem, which seems more than a side piece for a lot of the devs. Seems very diff than most other subscriptions plans.

Confirm it. We’re making a dozen times more from the MAS than from Setapp with Mate. However, Setapp audience is really nice, responsive and open to sharing feedback. It‘s not making us living but we love being a part of it!

Bundle subscriptions are not the future of app dev. Bundle subscriptions would be the death of app dev.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but my impression is that exactly zero 3rd party developers make a living exclusively from Setapp, and at best it's just supplementary income for the participants.

Not something you could base your business on.

And I can already see this coming: Apple
paying a lot of money upfront to attract new games knowing it's not sustainable.

Then Apple stop subsidizing development but players are used to the pricing scheme.

Game over: you are stuck with low pricing for high quality Apps.
