And once again, the iPhones got fatter and heavier… the new Pro Max weighs exactly as much as 2 SEs, to the gram. pic.twitter.com/VQf75U1Lix

Horrible news. A friend and conversation partner from my https://t.co/kMYj0gMtj2 days. Young, vigorous, loving father ... this is dreadful. https://t.co/7E565bBlxU

The key issue here is the centralization of DNS, which has always been a decentralized service. Cloudflare is slowly taking control of basic Internet infrastructure. https://t.co/q8bl2BOvOC

No, absolutely not: @moment cam has a two-level shutter button (like a physical camera) that only works with 3D Touch. Tap-hold to focus, press to shoot. Biggest killer feature 3D Touch ever had IMO

Zero feature gap? Did Haptic Touch magically remove the delayed response?

‘Peek and pop’ in one single touch action is no more, and long pressing for Haptic Touch can take longer as it’s a fixed duration rather than being able to shortcut into an action by applying more pressure.

how would you go from text cursor placement to text selection? I don't see how that can be replicated with Haptic because it's 2 levels deep

In an alternate universe where they had force sensitivity from the beginning, it might've been nice if it took a press to activate buttons normally, with touches only used for scrolling and zooming

I need to retract my comment about plugins and notarization. after some hints at what i was doing wrong I managed to find a way to make it work.
I definitely made at least one idiot mistake, but i can't say the cryptic error messages were entirely blameless either.

Oh shit, this also means no more 3D Touch on the keyboard to manipulate the cursor. That was genuinely the best feature. Long-press on the space bar doesn't compare, and can't be used to select words/sentences.

Is the dark green color going to be called jade in China?
Serious question!
Westerners don't get what a big deal jade is in China. Much more high end than gold or diamonds.

I suggested to Apple years ago they should ship "jade" models...
