No. Because of rating inflation. Anything less than 5 can get them penalized. The service follows up to ask what is wrong.

So, 5 is average, and there’s no way to rate exceptional people at all anymore. pic.twitter.com/JUtZ9RRHtk

How did Apple find itself in a situation where it has three different kinds of incompatible Apple Pencil pairing technology? Do the new iPads support the early-2018 iPad’s proximity pairing i.e. for the Crayon?

@marcoarment Not sure if anyone else said this yet, but you cannot used two Pencils on the new iPad at the same time. When you pair a new one, the previous Pencil disconnects. Bummer. Side note: you can’t rename your Pencil like you can with AirPods.

It’s true that the iPad Pro has enough magnets in it to stick to a fridge. But did you know it will also make you look super silly trying to pull it off a metal table? pic.twitter.com/DvBDVZJOyJ

seems like with this last generation, both “iPad” and “iPad Pro” lines have fully escaped the tyranny of sequentially numbered product names

Another (growing) thread on the 2018 Mac mini. Much more coming now that our mix of mini builds are starting to show up at @MacStadium https://t.co/o718maMUn4

It’s very clear the 18W power adapter should have shipped with the new iPhones, and iPad should ship with a 30W adapter. I hope Apple sees sense next time round

18W power adapter — still nowhere near enough for an iPad Pro (perfect for an iPhone, mind). Do yourself a favor and pick up a 30W one, and try and find a third-party one a fraction of the official Apple price (I went with Anker)

If iOS supported a trackpad even if only for cursor movement then that’d be pretty compelling. But it’s iOS’ limits that make me not use my iPad with a keyboard. Having to take my hands off the keyboard and try and do things on the screen just is too frustrating.

From what I’ve seen.
128GB -> ~600MB/s
256GB -> ~1.3GB/s
512GB -> ~1.9GB/s
1TB -> ~2.6GB/s

Reads are all > 2GB/s.

Crazy how Samsung acquired the Siri team and then repeated the same mistakes Apple did with them. 🙄 https://t.co/MrrlvOxvGu

Swift as a whole is unfinished, despite years of iteration. Software is only “finished” once it has been deprecated.

Just in case you were curious to know how long it takes to upgrade a 200GB table with 2,147,483,647 rows in it from int to bigint. The answer is 2:52 hours on extremely beefy hardware 😫
