Do they not see the problem here? The build setting is deprecated and slated for removal, but the default is YES, which means you have to explicitly set it to NO in your project to avoid the build warning. pic.twitter.com/zWhebuovI1

Unpopular opinion: I agree with what @Flickr is planning to do. 1TB of storage space for free accounts was simply nuts—an unsustainable offer. New management seems to be focus on a “Quality over quantity” policy, & I’m fine with that. A Pro account doesn’t cost that much, folks.

As Apple has killed off the mini, companies are buying Amazon Kindle Fire 7” tablets to replace the iPad in a key market - screens for conference room doors. #Apple, #Amazon, #FireTablet

The same people praising Chromebooks and whose digital lives fully reside on Google’s datacenters are begging for filesystem access on the iPad 🤔

Really enjoyed @reckless's review of the iPad Pro. I keep wanting to love the iPad for everything-but-programming, but even for RAW-based photography, the software still just isn't there. So much performance, so little workflow. https://t.co/mAagjla02E

It was way easier to excuse the missing basics before iPads cost $2000 and had power outstripping the MBP. Even in iPad Pro’s own market segment, it’s the only product missing all of these things, like external storage support, desktop-class browsing, mouse input, etc https://t.co/LSewPsUUkN

In the #Finder, what exactly is the rationale behind displaying THREE lines here with a scroll bar for the rest, instead of the full file name?

Having such a multi-line field is an ugly-enough kludge as it is. How on earth is it made more palatable by limiting it to three lines? pic.twitter.com/CDx02h9x76

The original behavior (allowing the elements in a let array to be mutated) was always seen as undesirable, at least that’s how I interpret the commit history. Here’s a relevant commit by @DaveAbrahams from May 2014, before the public release: https://t.co/NcY2CE8Efw pic.twitter.com/AKuzj1RkKs

With the disclaimer that I don’t have any inside knowledge, I’ve been cobbling together a blog post over the past week on why iPad should get macOS.

I don’t feel like the Dev community quite understands the requirements of pros.

If you try to jam keyboard and mouse into iPad, just so you can say it replaced your computer, iPad is no longer designed for a specific scenario. It can be used in all scenarios...none of them considered. That's not design. That's anti-design.
