What I’ve found is — about half the time -— the TV app doesn’t update the list of episodes screen when you close the video player. It looks like it hasn’t saved the watch progress, but it is there if you go out and go back in. Really amateur and dumb bugs.

Following issues with expired #macOS installers, Apple now provides direct download (!) copies of updated installers for macOS 10.10 - 10.12. For macOS 10.13 - 10.15, Apple provides App Store links. Main support document here: https://t.co/R4h0rn5jXZ

XCode 11.2 #combine operator `throttle` no longer appears to be respecting `latest=false` prior behavior. Reported to apple as FB7424221, and detailed in unit tests in https://t.co/L0FyKCr6Pi, the test code behind the book Using Combine (https://t.co/o873TXF0aQ)

Is Apple Notary Service down?
Green on system status, and altool —notarise-app returns No errors uploading
But subsequent requests for info all say couldn’t find RequestUUID.

The way I like to think of this is that copy on write isn’t an abstraction — it’s an optimization. The abstraction in play here is the concept of collections as value types, which I find super useful, but in its purest form would require a full copy every time. 1/

Preferences aside, this is something I don’t get. Why does views created with SwiftUI look different when using Catalyst than when using AppKit directly? I hoped to deliver a very Mac-like settings window for Jayson using SwiftUI and Catalyst but I can’t. https://t.co/YsbGCAwHbt

It's personally my first experience of even the RequestUUID being unknown. So far the notarization servers have mostly been fine for me and my annoyance was more about the potential of screwing up my releases than an actual delay of more than a few minutes.
