💭 I wonder if spinning a Continuous Integration build for every Git push is an ecological disaster at scale.

Wow I've gotten so used to the camera bump I forgot how sleek the back looks without it. 😢 (I'd still rather have these amazing cameras, though) https://t.co/fH765OIGQa

Messages for Web alerts you if your phone battery gets low. Pretty cool little feature. pic.twitter.com/M3KIGtT1hy

so apple tv being built-in to my Samsung TV has completely changed how i watch movies/tv shows and i'm now convinced that iMessage (and everything else) being cross-platform would make every phone better

Ex: MacBookPros used to be the best for the buck. Now it's just an overpriced unreliable piece or hardware.

Well to me Apple was a premium brand, not a luxury brand.

With luxury, there is correlation between what you pay and what you get, it's all about the image.

With premium, you pay more and you get more with better quality.

Years ago, there were category labels for each Sys Pref group. Now that they're gone, it just looks like things were randomly sorted.

Tip: Use View > Organize Alphabetically to make it easy to find things. (I wish they kept third-party panes at the end.)

Bonus: Smaller window. pic.twitter.com/yOGYms9gYJ

Disappointed that Ghost created a custom posting API instead of adopting Micropub, which is a W3C recommendation. It’s okay to have Ghost-only APIs as long as you start with standards as a baseline. Now we have fragmented client apps. https://t.co/UkgAQjDeux

When TestFlight was independent they had free burritos at WWDC. Apple bought them. When BuddyBuild was independent they had free burritos at WWDC. Apple bought them.

Guess who’s getting bought next? https://t.co/8OH9FuT48F

Hey @AppStore, it doesn’t serve you very well to piss off Devs with a capital ‘D’ that are propping up your stagnant platform

Korean Movist Dev is now bypassing you, and you know why? Because you were stupid. IINA devs too

in the very early days of Gatekeeper i had to turn it off because it flagged .txt files from my university's course management software as untrusted.

Unpopular opinion I suspect, but 3D touch is one of the worst usability mistakes Apple ever made (IMHO). Difficult gesture that in places like the home screen conflicts with other gestures. I shouldn't have to be the Lionel Messi of fingers to rearrange my icons 😂 https://t.co/G5eaRJlPa0

I learned a long time ago to file bugs/radars with the necessary details required to fix it as if I were going to fix it.

Because, sadly, you might be the one fixing the bug even if you don’t (yet) work at the company or don’t even work with the teams involved. Sigh.

Another thing.... I remember watching Forstall’s interview couple years back at the Computer History Museum in SJ and hoping he’d get asked what he thinks of iOS today. Still say one of great tech mysteries is what he was planning for iOS 7 when Cook axed him.
