There’s a lot to love about Proxyman, but the disingenuous way it promotes itself will keep me on Charles for a long time to come. This post from Oct. compares competitors to Proxyman features that still don’t exist 5 months later. https://t.co/JN9jzcKdOO

All streaming services in Europe are serving reduced quality video ATM because of you know what … but Apple TV+’s is by far the most noticeable; visibly blocky and low-res. https://t.co/5UVO8L7BYX

I bet I could get more done with “Literally any Performa” in 1997 than a IPad Pro today.

The fact that a MacBook Pro 16" is even made it thus far means the competition is terribly flawed. Start over.

I can’t believe the 12 inch PowerBook G4 lost to the iMac Pro. https://t.co/vT2BYa6TZi

The reviews speaketh the truth: The keyboard on the new MacBook Air is WONDERFUL. And the performance looks seriously good as well. This i5 hit 111 on the Speedometer 2.0, and my MBP16 i9 did 121. Price is very reasonable too.

This is it exactly - the 2020 MacBook Air settles all family business. This is the answer to most "what Mac should I buy" questions, without any real caveats. https://t.co/lVPIztSXEU

Is there any developer documentation on the new iPad Pro with LiDAR at all? Can we get access to it's data through the existing depth mapping feeds in AVFoundation?

Where the iPad is truly at the forefront today is hardware (manufacturing+specs). But idea, concept, purpose? Not anymore. Others are trying to match the iPad in hardware, Apple is borrowing ideas and purposes from others. If there’s combined progress in all this, it’s inertial.

Just to test that claim: I translated the code into C. For the 1000x1000 matrix, my Python code takes 2000 ms and my C code takes 800 ms. By comparison numpy.linalg.cholesky (which I think uses Intel MKL under the hood) only takes 20 ms despite also being an O(n^3) algorithm.

I can’t wait for VNC apps to update with support for this.
An iPad as my only computer 👎
An iPad as my main computer with terminal and VNC access to a mac for anything I can’t do 🎉 https://t.co/F64aGs9ykT

The Files app (especially in Grid View) feels like the "Duplo file manager for toddlers", and unlike on the mac. There is no option to use a 3rd party one, you MUST use this interface.

5 list items vs 12 in the same height, more than double the items. The Files app currently feels like it's using the design language from the Photos screenshot. It needs to be using the iMovie high info density design language.

If you like ProxyMan, might I (ever so boldly) suggest checking out ServeUp https://t.co/T8q6p782oy

Disclaimer: I’m the developer and I literally only just released onto the Mac App Store last night 🤞🙏
