My watch says it’s 78-79dB in here and the AirPods drop it down to a whisper faint enough that I can hear my tinnitus buzzing. (Now if only they could compensate for that....)

Wow! At an indoor pool for the last day of swimming lessons for the kids and the noise canceling in the AirPod Pro is positively unreal. It’s super loud and echoey in here normally and they almost completely erase it. Magic.

Lockdown is open source, so you can see exactly what it's doing and *not* doing.
Never trust a closed source security or privacy product. Even "brand name" apps are secretly selling your data to the highest bidder - in violation of their Privacy Policies.https://t.co/s638d6OSHY

Did you know that if you turn on Content Caching in System Preferences, a new tab is available in Activity Monitor?

On an unrelated note, my Mac nows seems to be a downloading a large amount of data from the internet. pic.twitter.com/XHbUva3v3M

it would be nice to see iMessage on iOS gain screen sharing too, if it's going to take group chats more seriously

Thanks for letting me know. I’m not sure what to make of that, since it’s set to appear in all territories where Apple News is available.

Remember when you could scrub through a video in a web page on a Mac and all the frames would update when you scrubbed backward? I do. (Now you only see key frames, with flicker, when scrubbing from right to left.)

Google shutting down Reader instead of figuring out how to monetize a tiny, passionate user base of incredibly influential people is an all-time mistake with repercussions to this day https://t.co/hTNmBNEggV pic.twitter.com/CoxButA82l

I said “still hasn’t”.

But it’s not just “something strange”. Gatekeeper is very hard to understand. Notarizing one of my apps prevents it from working on 10.14. Works perfectly on 10.15, same binary. As an app dev, what am I supposed to do? The docs are anemic.

Yup, this is @adobe’s idea of a progress indicator when you try to update Reader. (And not indication of when the wait is over, of course, other than the app actually launching when you try to open it.)

They really are completely clueless. This is prehistoric computing. pic.twitter.com/QZys3xi5OX

This is why we use the same version number for all TF releases. The review process is way to slow and unreliable to plan anything.

And why does it even exist? https://t.co/oT5jvCyfOn
