Staring at logs indicating an NSMergeConflict for an entity I never expressly delete, has one relation with a nullify rule on both sides, and yet somehow sourceObject.isDeleted is true and oldVersionNumber is 0.

[*] With or without CoreData experience, tweet may be confusing AF.

Very surprised this doesn’t get more press. Siri shortcuts reliability, like Siri overall, is so bad that I can’t rely on it. Apple’s multi-year record of not caring or being unable to fix this speaks volumes. https://t.co/HDLnP4u3IK

The unveiling of the iPhone was a seminal event in the history of technology. I’ll never forget it. So glad I left the Consumer Electronics Show in 2007 to fly to SF to attend. Jobs convinced me to do so without telling me the product. “Walt, this will be as big as the Mac.” https://t.co/IeJMGPK2p8

There’s a ton of writing about this tradeoff. I think in many cases you are essentially making a bet about which direction you’ll need to expand in. If you can plug in *anything* without refactoring, you’ve probably over-engineered (a.k.a. deoptimized clarity/speed).

Finally! Someone has made a 1-to-4 USB-C hub!

Except it costs as much as an iPad. And has a bunch of other stuff you may not need. And it won’t work with the 12-inch MacBook or iPad Pro — it’s Thunderbolt-only.https://t.co/3VJUWUVR9y https://t.co/PZwxCMu0Z2

At WWDC this year (~6 months ago), Apple said Apple TV sales had grown 50% due to the launch of the 4K. Not sure how the overall sales trajectory has been other than that though.

There isn’t

ATV4 growth stopped years ago. Not sure how many times I’ve said it for many years. But Apple TV (box) was dead *years* ago - if not a decade ago

It never had a chance anyway. Boxes are for cable/Satellite

“This also suggests that the Apple TV has seen its last iteration. If Apple can put the same apps on any smart TV – which is, of course, not complicated – why have a separate device?”

Coz Apple TV provides an app experience not available anywhere else! Long Live Apple TV! https://t.co/M2jQKVGaXI

One thing that has not been mentioned is Apple volume decline vs competitors vs China market as a whole. The financials suggest stability in Q1-3, but when you look at shipments, thats a totally different story. China iPhone growth has been a headache for Apple since 2017.
