Ditto. iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Max, iPhone 11R

Not saying it’s a flop, but I think there’s a 2/10 chance XR is 1-year only.

What he said. Now that my son has a gaming PC I can see the night-and-day difference with games that do run on Mac too.

I hate this way of thinking but people like Felt know a lot more than me in practice, so I'm gradually coming around to it. I'm also biased by getting to work on a tool that is 95% input -> output, without worrying about synchronous events or connection issues or attack vectors. https://t.co/U3PggrjPl3

Software seems like something we should be able to reason about, yet the reality is that it's often too complex. Since we don't know how it works, we measure it and experiment on it as if we are trying to discover properties of the natural world

Apple's December quarter iPhone sales are looking to be off about ~16% down from 77m to about 65/66 million.

My talks with investors have moved from the bad quarter to how bad the year may be for iPhone sales.

Services/Wearables still where growth hope comes from.

Still funny™: all the app store links vended by appstore connect and placed by devs on their page that link directly to a review and always alert you on click that you haven't bought the app yet to comment. #sadface

I haven't done much with this GPU in Windows, but I wonder if AMD is this aggressive with the fans in Windows and the fan control code just got ported over.

Also maybe new Mac Pro preparation? One could hope.

Apple added really aggressive dynamic GPU fan control in 10.14.4, and while I love having my GPU cooled better, it's kind of weird to hear the GPU fans spin up and down second by second depending on what's happening on my screen.

it's because your window doesn't have a titlebar. that means it defaults to never becoming a keywindow

override canBecomeKeyWindow and return YES and you're good to go.

next question: can you get that gesture to work with without becoming key?
dunno.

Sigh. Thought I had licked the USB 3/Bluetooth interference problem by rearranging my desk, but no such luck. Might be time to go back to the Bluetooth dongle.

Yep, second display is on the right. It opens in the bottom left of my main display. I quit Messages often, so a script wouldn’t really fix this for me. (I did write one for Finder, though, since it also forgets it window locations.)

The nice part about WCAG being a standard is that there aren’t rival accessibility guidelines to worry about—it’s not like the days of VHS vs Betamax.

And of the many companies that have resolved accessibility lawsuits, WCAG has always been the yardstick. https://t.co/8LXbndzn0J
