TIL “You can't request refunds for recurring charges…” https://t.co/NuQDQObDkO
So all those apps that tricked people into high priced subscriptions get to keep all the revenue AND the subscriptions keep renewing because the UI to cancel subscriptions is buried.

Some iPhone XS shots showing how much progress Apple has made in low light photography.

Only point I’d make is that Night Sight solves this in software, runs on previous generation hardware. https://t.co/cE3l5HZBPZ

“Hacker” wasn’t a negative term until the media ran away with it. “Algorithm” looks like it could go the same way.https://t.co/LBCV2E2S2O

One annoying side-effect is that having that refunded app in the updates will mess up the update process for other apps when tapping Update All. I guess I’m done with this experiment as this is pretty annoying. pic.twitter.com/EPbuTHjguL

Follow-up: App Store does show an update for the refunded app but tapping Update does nothing. pic.twitter.com/pb39SvttU4

Not a good generation is an understatement. They had seemingly two main consumer facing goals for the line: Touch Bar and Make It Thinner. They achieved the latter by comprising nearly everything about the machine

I, for one, do not think Twitter should ever budge from rendering only plain text. The beauty of Markdown (if I say so myself) is that it reads properly even in plain text, with the punctuation showing.

I’ve long wondered about that shortcut. The whole range of S shortcuts are generally reserved the various Save commands, so I guess the D is from Sen_D_?

Interesting nugget from Lookout's new research.

These so-called 0-click iPhone exploits have not been documented, but looks like they are real. We spoke to sources who saw a demo a few months ago. https://t.co/DhdOgWhskR https://t.co/nR0Axekt11

Baffling to me how Twitter hasn't implemented basic markdown support or text styles in tweets yet

I see so many of you doing _this_ and *that* all the time
