When making Mac app icons, please provide all the relevant sizes — the system picks the best one for each use, which helps performance, and often means things look better.

Don’t be like Slack (their icon only includes 1024×1024 and 512×512). pic.twitter.com/Grgesn0Fzb

It's so generic and completely unrecognizable. Looks like a bad copy of the Google Photos app icon. pic.twitter.com/EF1ZNBgx5W

Bingo. (We don't allow you to create windows with grayscale backing using public API, though that is also theoretically possible). For the most part you'll see it during a B&W print operation.

Much thinner than the old versions, which they’re also complaining about.

I’m still confused why the wording of “thick” here. Of course it’s thick. It’s a battery strapped to the back of your phone. 🤷‍♂️

Also it was so much fun to watch tech journalists say this battery has less juice than the previous ones when it actually has more capacity 🤣

We opened one when the Apple people weren't looking because we were joking how crazy it must be inside. The Pentium 4 was supposed to be these obscenely hot processor so we expected the box to be packed to the gills. Instead it was just a bare board with the stock Intel fan.

At WWDC, they had these machines sitting side by side with G5s so you could run your app for reference on a PowerPC while you ported to Intel.

These boxes were faster and quieter than the G5s next to them with far less cooling. It was embarrassing. https://t.co/Rasc2Nn1zM
