Then there is also the 1985 Apple II HIG here ftp://ftp.apple.asimov.net/pub/apple_II/documentation/misc/Apple2HIG1985.pdf

@mattt I don't recommend editing simulator plists directly; better to `xcrun simctl spawn booted defaults read --global`. When using spawn simctl will search the simulator runtime path first & the sim build of defaults knows the right places to look (& properly talks to cfprefsd)

Still on the lookout for a good issue/feature-tracking system. Must-haves are iOS & macOS clients, relations & dependencies (“Issue A blocks Issue B”), milestones, components, and tagging.

I’ve yet to find a decent system that has all these that isn’t Radar. Any recommendations?

I’ll just trigger a crash if a deadlock is detected, then that crash is symbolicated. Good enough for CI.

I'll say this about Apple. It's the only company with shareholders who pretend to be journalists and write columns trashing actual journalists for stories that may damage the company's stock. Almost as noble as the Definers.

1) How completely broken is Android’s security model if malicious apps are somehow automatically granted permissions on private data?

2) How can people at Facebook still have a conscience and do stuff like this? https://t.co/I3QFTZPCLZ

I don’t care what anybody says. I cannot believe that a company with @apple’s resources needs so much time to design a suitable replacement for the #MacPro.

And I can’t believe they find it acceptable to leave people completely in the dark like this.

Anker’s USB-C stuff has burned me in the past and lost my trust for a while, and I have two of that Aukey one — it’s fine, but the Apple one is a slightly nicer size for bags and I trust it more. https://t.co/Y4BROEBZzl

Somewhat damning that it took Google *three years* to close this loophole - they only added a new permissions group for Read Call Log last summer in a developer preview of Android P. https://t.co/jBn4SfDvE9 https://t.co/O0oudF4RBC
