Is there a way in Swift yet to import an NSDictionary as an actual NSDictionary (and not be automagically converted into a Swift Dictionary)?

People on the NetNewsWire Slack are suddenly talking about a Mac app called Hammerspoon, which I’d not heard of before, but which sounds really cool. https://t.co/5md4wrdK4E

There’s an Xcode bug whereby building our project once compiles all of it, twice with no changes compiles half of it, three times with no changes compiles 1/4 of it, etc.

Added a bunch of &’s and wait’s to my code signing script, and now it takes 5 seconds instead of 22.

I've been working on a new iPad app since August this year, and I'm really excited about it! I'll start sharing more and more info about the app next year 🤣

One fun fact already: it is not a pure Swift app, there's some Objective-C in there - for performance reasons!

Eazel was insanely fun to be at, especially as an intern. The talent level was unreal and if you liked industry stories it was heaven. But the business model was essentially non-existent. I think it could work, with a better plan, and I’d also very much want to be in!

Feels like Eazel was another "pulling together the team" type of endeavor. What other startups have involved such a large cast of former "all stars"? The downside is these don't ... seem to work.

Every single friend of mine who hastily upgraded to Catalina, while telling me I was being excessive in my wariness, has admitted to me (in a way or another) how huge a mistake they made.

BTW, the number of people who didn’t know Catalina would drop 32-bit apps is staggering.

If it’s quarantined, you can also use the Security & Privacy prefpane to allow the unsigned executable (only needed once). If it’s not quarantined, it’ll run regardless.
