Here’s Apple’s payouts for bug bounties and their corresponding categories.

Maximum payout is now 1 million. pic.twitter.com/S2y25AScLa

Actually I know why it doesn't start until after the next OS releases. If Apple had to fix their vulnerabilities before then, they'd have to delay the OS releases! I don't think they want to know about the bugs until then.

Apple is paying a bonus for pre-release vulnerabilities, but the new bug bounty program doesn't start until the fall? What sense does that make? Too late for the next OS releases!

So Apple added some extra hardware protections to T2 equipped Macs they haven’t talked about before. They pushed boot protection up to essentially remove most pre-boot/boot process hardware attacks, even before RAM is turned on. Getting more iOS-like every year

You have to be careful that working remotely doesn't become a career dead end. Don't just think about your current job, think about the next job you'll need to get.

Out of sight out of mind, smaller professional network, physical distance from other job opportunities, etc. https://t.co/OXVtBJEpfA

IMHO, this should feed the current lawsuits about Apple anticompetitive behavior.

"YOUR APP IS TOO SIMILAR TO TESTFLIGHT."

Right, like Apple Music isn't "too similar" to Spotify for example.

The double standard and "open" competition in the App Store: Apple can Sherlock you but you can't compete with them nor make anything similar to their services.

One of the great things about Apple products is the thought put into how people will use what is built.

With the company's focus on Security & Privacy, you'd think that the same attention would be paid to how these protections affect the protected.

Also, in the case of Screen Recording, the prompts in the Security & Privacy preferences about quitting the app is wrong. The change takes place as soon as the checkmark is clicked, without restarting.

This constant barrage of security permission dialogs on Catalina would be a lot less distasteful if a modicum of thought went into the user experience. Everything about the flow, including help that's incorrect when you click on ?, is about accessibility, not the user's goals. pic.twitter.com/MUwuJuwWMT

The day has finally come (well, soon) where Apple is offering an iOS device with SSH and a root shell. Granted, to a very select few right now. But I hope it expands to more people over time; I know I want something like that, too! 😃

How is it that OS X thinks "were" is a misspelled word when it is used correctly.⁰⁰So many small details are getting fucked up so often that I am starting to wonder if anyone is minding the shop anymore.

"were" is not the only one. :(
