The Touch Bar would be a much better feature if it didn’t replace the top row but was placed above it. https://t.co/YVx3qT0rv7

No way they get rid of the free tier. What sense does that make?

My only wish for the next Safari version is for the scroll indicator to be clearly visible on all pages, regardless of page background colors, scroll position and zoom level.

(While on the topic of Apple, I begrudgingly accept that Apple Pay is also kinda awesome. Doesn’t feel right that our tech companies should also be our financial intermediaries, but it’s hard to fault the execution. It actually IS easier than credit cards.)

Fun thing about these is that they're well-supported by fonts and even handwriting recognizers; if your handwriting settings are set to their most comprehensive you can write 彁 into Pleco and get a match. https://t.co/Hb5PRI8JeG

Incredibly proud to see PDF Viewer being featured on the top banner of the App Store’s Apps page! We just released our PDF Viewer Pro subscription feature pack, so the timing is perfect. Thank you, App Store Editorial team! 🙏 pic.twitter.com/N5qQjZ1ArZ

Just noticed how strikingly similar Memoji are to the character style of the humans in Paw Patrol. Does this style have a name? Are the models like Corel Draw clip art?

I would argue that Apple *needs* to be better than “good enough”. The entire company’s premise is that they deliver superior products and experiences. The MacBook Air they will sell you today isn’t even close to that standard.

Most affiliate links come from Facebook or Google. How much, I don’t know, but this is a move against them, not indie websites

Affiliate content is basically the bane of my Googling experience. Not all sites that rely on affiliate money are bad (there are some truly great ones), but they are few and far between.

I use Apple’s directory as a filter for spam, hate, etc. since they enforce their own rules with a human staff:https://t.co/2Eh7ftLOLL

In rare cases, they fail to enforce these rules. If customers report a legitimate hate/violent/etc. show to me, I hide it from search results. https://t.co/GnSlboYMyF

Any analysis of this affiliate program situation that walks through Apple’s thinking and doesn’t kneejerk to how malicious and evil they must be?

Not saying it’s not evil, but I don’t quite buy the narrative being pumped through my timeline right now.
