Update: @Intuit via Twitter credited me the charges! I spent 1+ hour on chat with three representatives and they told me they couldn't do it. I'm quite happy with their support.

I think I've said this already, but it bears repeating: I've given myself full permission to switch back to my iPhone but I don't want to yet. The lack of good third party apps is annoying, but I'm enjoying other aspects enough to keep my SIM in there for now.

The description of -retainArguments does mention it ("If a returnvalue has been set, this is also retained or copied") but it may need to be added elsewhere too.

I see! The documentation is lacking on that; it doesn't mention return values at all. I shall file a radar.

Thanks!

I'm really loving what @dgregor79's Property Delegate proposal is doing to my Argument Parser library ❤️ pic.twitter.com/A0gI6h5PBN

Apple let Safari get behind in features, took a wrong turn on multi platform support and, well, developer tools 🤷🏻‍♂️

Apple has optimized WebKit so well for platforms like iOS that I kind of doubt Apple would dump it. Microsoft is having to re-optimize all of Chromium (and we'll see if they fork.) But contributors leaving WebKit for Chromium seems like a problem.

I'm not sure if Google is intentionally introducing incompatible behavior into Chrome, but that Microsoft gave up on Edge and just switched to Chrome says a lot.

I've had conversation with Chrome engineers that are just assuming Apple will have to dump WebKit.

More and more sites aren’t working in Safari, or they are just stupid slow or rendered bad and I’m having to use Chrome more and it’s making me sad.

I know, I was shocked. The text is equally sharp, but the Voyage has much better contrast. I guess the multiple layers for the waterproofing mess with that. This comparison was interesting: https://t.co/2rqz9XzW0o

Dropbox is sunsetting Djinni (and really all of their C++ libraries) and that makes me sad. https://t.co/LXE7OwecAH

I guess it’s hard to find enough good C++ devs. (Talking from experience)

Lots of changes to the For You screen in Apple Music today. Recently Added is more prominent, no friend suggestions, and a lot more playlist and album suggestions in different groupings. pic.twitter.com/wmnFsUJXcw

Success begets complacency, so there’s space for startups always. When people think “but Big Co X is going to do it” I always think of the insane politics of big orgs that destroy products and waste the time of great makers.
