Black activist jailed for his Facebook posts speaks out about secret FBI surveillance | World news | The Guardian
Balogun spoke to the Guardian this week in his first interview since he was released from prison after five months locked up and denied bail while US attorneys tried and failed to prosecute him, accusing him of being a threat to law enforcement and an illegal gun owner. In a leaked August 2017 report from the FBI’s Domestic Terrorism Analysis Unit, officials claimed that there had been a “resurgence in ideologically motivated, violent criminal activity” stemming from African Americans’ “perceptions of police brutality”. Investigators began monitoring Balogun, whose legal name is Christopher Daniels, after he participated in an Austin, Texas, rally in March 2015 protesting against law enforcement, special agent Aaron Keighley testified in court. At the time of his Facebook posts, Balogun said he was angry and “venting” about the high-profile cases of police killing innocent black men and women in America, including Alton Sterling and Philando Castile . Michael German, a former FBI agent and fellow with the Brennan Center for Justice’s liberty and national security program, said the BIE assessment was “extraordinarily overbroad” and that the concept was spreading to law enforcement agencies across the US as more black activists were facing surveillance and police harassment.

Manipulating data with Pandas – Part 1 | Scientifically Sound
Create a Pandas dataframe object df containing the simulated data, and write it to a CSV file in the working directory. Next, read the CSV file data back into memory (overwriting the df object), and print the top 5 lines in the dataframe using the head() function. The output (shown after IPython style Out[1]: prompts) shows the top 5 lines from the dataframe df , which contains data read from data.csv . When dealing with many variables or large datasets, it is sometimes useful to store processed data in a CSV file which can be quickly read back in later. Now, for each subject, create some data of repeated measures ( score1 and score2 , labeling them as scoreA and scoreB respectively) based on normal distributions centered around means of 5 and 8, each with standard deviation 2.

Tasks in Modern Elm - Ossi Hanhinen
The use case that does remain is tying several side-effects together. A common example of this is when people need a time stamp to go with their HTTP request. Cmds cannot be set to run one after another.
