Fight Like Girls for Our Place at the Table by napricot
Captain America, Sharon/Natasha (Steve/Bucky). "'It sure feels like a demotion. You’re taking me out of the field and out of intel analysis to babysit Captain America.' How Sharon Carter gets her groove back, fucks up some Nazis, and gets the girl, with unasked-for assists from a super soldier couple." // 52K. Sharon POV all. Pretty entertaining, v.v. slo-mo romance for Sharon, who's smitten with Natasha and later comes to think the regard could be mutual. Starts before CA:WS then forks after, so lots of agenting around for the CIA. (I'm kind of enjoying this seeming fandom consensus that none of the movies after that matter.)

You Know I'd Quench That Thirst by napricot
Captain America, Steve/Bucky, Steve/Peggy, Steve/Bucky/Peggy, Steve/the USO Tour. After the serum, Steve, whose sexual experience amounted to Bucky-Once-In-a-While, has a raging libido with no help but his hand until the USO comes to his rescue. Bucky and Peggy are willing to assist with his "medical condition," but after he's revived his life's filled with fail: everyone's too in awe of the icon to fuck him. So that's other reason he's desperate to find Bucky. // 38K. Goofy, fun idea, and some bits are legit hilarious with a side order of angsty woobie. Probably the best Peggy/Bucky threesome I've hit so far. But. Later it seems to wobble about in a goal-less way, aside from ticking off a checklist of fanon issues to cover. Also loaded with jarringly anachronistic phrasings / dialogue, like constantly hitting mental speed bumps for me. Ergo ambivalent: maybe reread, maybe not.

They're Gonna Send Us to Prison for Jerks by napricot
Captain America, Steve/Bucky. "'Hey Steve, this is Jack Murphy, our other neighbor. Jack, this is Steve.' Steve looked at Sam a little wildly, expecting to see -- he didn't even know, but some reaction other than Sam's usual easy friendliness. And there was something there, but it was just the twitch of Sam's mouth that said he found something hilarious and he was trying not to show it. Was this Sam's idea of a joke, or a prank? Because this guy--behind the glasses and mustache, Steve could have sworn—well, he looked like Bucky." A lead from Natasha results in Sam and Steve Do Cleveland, where the math teacher next door and his flourishing mustache set off all Steve's internal alarms.

// 24K, fork AU of suburban happiness. The set up wouldn't work without the backstory that Steve has mistaken several past dudes for Bucky, making this one Bucky number three or four. From that follows some stalking and mildly obsessive behavior on Steve's part while Sam fumes over their rental's passive aggressive parking situation. (Found it while tossing FFA for recs the other night.)
"Come look at this asshole park, Steve."
Steve sighed, but joined Sam on the couch. They were both peering over the back of the couch through the blinds now. Jack's blue Corolla was easing its way into the spot in front of their house, in front of Sam's car. Steve didn't see anything particularly wrong with the way Jack was parking. He was going kind of slow, sure, and doing that thing where he kept pulling in and out of the spot making small adjustments until he could squeeze in, but that was good, right? Better than just bumping into Sam's car again and again anyway.
"Wait for it," hissed Sam. Jack's blue Corolla inched slowly back until his rear bumper was almost touching Sam's car's front bumper. "See, see!"
"I mean, there's not really any room in the front of his car, not without blocking the other driveway. And there’s no shame in being a slow parker."
"He's gonna hit my bumper some day, Steve. It's just a matter of time," said Sam in dire tones.
"Right. Maybe we could direct our surveillance focus onto HYDRA instead of our neighbor's parallel parking skills?"
"We Miss Being Ruffians," http://archiveofourown.org/works/11488077 // 32K of followup post-fic fluffy fics, with Math!Teacher Jack continuing his calculusing ways, and Steve doting on him, and Sam and Natasha eyeing the whole situation with various degrees of exasperation.

I Could Walk Out, But I Won't by napricot
Captain America, gen(ish). "'Bucky started the car, and that was it: the Sam and Bucky Road Trip of Sadness and Maybe Bonding was officially happening. Sam hoped they could get through it without killing each other, or anyone else.' In which Sam is not as okay as he'd like to think, and Bucky's more well-adjusted than expected. // 27K, ignores CW. Bucky more or less invites himself along on the two-week roadtrip that Sam (POV) is taking to a funeral in Oregon. Mainly it's a Sam introspection fic, where he deals with stress and his own stuff while evading everyone's worrying about him. Some minor background Steve/Bucky content, but it's not the point. Nothing like an exciting fic, but readable in a relaxed sort of way.
