Damon Winter: Through My Eye, Not Hipstamatic’s
At the heart of all of these photos is a moment or a detail or an expression that tells the story of these soldiers’ day-to-day lives while on a combat mission. Nothing can change that. No content has been added, taken away, obscured or altered. These are remarkably straightforward and simple images.

There’s more than one way for developers to access fonts. This list is based on cycling through UIFont. However, there are a few more fonts available via Core Text. I’m debating on a design for displaying Core Text fonts in a meaningful way.

Bill Barol on the Hipstamatic Boing Boing
Even if the Hipstamatic were just another iPhone app it'd be worth your two bucks. What's not to like? The Hipstamatic is a great little photo app that attempts to replicate the experience of shooting with a cut-rate '80s snapshot camera, right down to the leatherette "skin" and the big clunky shutter button. But the app isn't aping just any cheap camera; it's the reincarnation of the mysterious, beloved Hipstamatic 100, and right there is where the story takes a turn.

Five rational arguments against Apple's 3.3.1 policy - (37signals)
If you view the economy as the App Store, Apple can be viewed as Venezuela where the rules of commerce are constantly changed and investors start fleeing for the fear that they’re next. They may not leave today because of vested interests, but you’re scaring good people away and driving them to alternative platforms. But since the effects won’t be felt tomorrow, it doesn’t appear nearly as dangerous as it really is.

The Secret Diary of Steve Jobs : AT&T: Chokehold is “irresponsible and pointless”
The whole point of having these mobile devices is to consume data. ... This is the future.
