ESPN Insider Articles Free
Posting ESPN Insider articles on a Google Adsense ridden site with almost no design. And the scraping is badly done too. But still, def something people want. Found it via a one poster, likely the site owner, posting a link to it in a related forum discussion in early 2013. Site is still up as of late 2014. -- Bottom says: "Powered by Howtoknow.us"

Network in footer, including: "User Angent DB - MD5 Crack Database - GAE Zip Server - Calendar Online - Today In History Prime Number - IP Location Database - National Geographic Daily Photo - Phone Location Lookup". Apollo Project Management Software – Best Web Based Online PM Tool 2012
A solid alternative to Basecamp Classic. Though it is basically a full on copy. Almost everything is exactly the same. Just a more polished look, which I like, but also more bugs. It also has basic CRM and contacts functionality though. But who knows how long the company will last, and if serious updates will keep coming. So def not worth it for a CRM.

Solipsism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"is the philosophical idea that only one's own mind is sure to exist. As an epistemological position, solipsism holds that knowledge of anything outside one's own mind is unsure; the external world and other minds cannot be known, and might not exist outside the mind" -- Though the word is a deeper, it is a good word for the wrongness of the idea of "let_people_do_what_they_want_is_the_nice_and_proper_thing_pattern". Just because it is your thought and you feel a certain way, doesn't make it right.

ngrok - secure introspectable tunnels to localhost
"Demo your latest code ngrok creates a tunnel from the public internet (http://subdomain.ngrok.com) to a port on your local machine. You can give this URL to anyone to allow them to try out a web site you're developing without doing any deployment. Understand HTTP services ngrok captures all traffic through the tunnel. It displays information about the HTTP traffic for your inspection. Raw request/response bytes, parsed headers and form data, JSON/XML syntax checking and more are included. Replay Requests Developing services which consume webhooks can be challenging if the hooks are labor-intensive to generate. Use ngrok's replay request feature to iterate quickly on a new feature without switching contexts to generate new requests."

[selenium-users] How to assign both User Agent and Proxy to webdriver - Grokbase
"Issue resolved. It was never a programmatic issue. The above DesiredCapabilites and service_args with "driver = webdriver.PhantomJS( desired_capabilities=dcap, service_args=service_args)" works. The problem was with the proxy provider setup. Once the default UA was removed from the proxy server it allowed the DesiredCapabilites to assign the UA."

Vice Raises $500 Million in Its Quest for 'Total Media Domination'
"CEO Shane Smith's goal of "total media domination" took a major step forward on Thursday with the announcement that Vice had raised $500 million in funding evenly split from A&E Networks and technology investment firm Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV). ... A&E and TCV each took 10% stakes in Vice, valuing the Brooklyn-based company at $2.5 billion. ... The move paves the way for Vice to appear on television screens across the U.S. A&E, a joint venture between Disney and Hearst Ventures, operates 10 cable channels including some with broad distribution. A move into television beyond its HBO show is seen as a natural move for Vice. ... Vice has enjoyed a meteoric rise in value in the past year. The company had taken no known major investments until August 2013, when 21st Century Fox took a 5% stake that valued the company at $1.4 billion."

Maybe Ezra Klein and Jeff Bezos Are Both Right - The New Yorker
"BuzzFeed and Upworthy aren’t really news sites: they specialize in listicles, lifestyle posts, funny GIFs, and celebrity stories. When I checked BuzzFeed’s home page on Monday afternoon, one of its featured headlines was “Ron Jeremy Does ‘Wrecking Ball.’ ” Over at Upworthy, there was this offering: “An Actor Who Got Super Famous Overnight Has Some Profound Thoughts on Celebrity Worship.” (Update: In fairness, and in response to some complaints from BuzzFeed writers, I should point out that BuzzFeed also puts out serious journalism, includingpolitical reports, dispatches from overseas, and long-form stories. Still, the lists and other lighter fare are what drive a lot of its traffic.)" _Lol at Buzzfeed getting butthurt about the mostly accurate description_
