sam_storyteller: Half A Dozen Laconic Bastards
John Sheppard didn't know he was part of an ATA-gene cloning project until it was much, much too late. Neal and Zane have a serious case of sibling rivalry, Ianto and Tim don't like the uniforms, and Gwen isn't sure she wants to be leader after all. [As one commenter put it, it's basically the Grand Unified Theory of Hair. It's awesome!]

sam_storyteller : Eternal Springtime
"Does it seem like winter's been really mild this year?" he asked Neal, hoping Neal would go off on one of his occasional monologues and he could judge whether the winter was slow to come or whether he was just insane.

Neal, sitting at the conference table, dropped his head into his arms.

"I was wondering when you'd say something," he said, his voice muffled by his shirtsleeves.

"You were?" Peter asked.

"It's my fault," Neal said, looking up.

"Wait, what's your fault?"

"That there's no winter." Neal dropped his head into his arms again. "It's my fault winter's not coming."

Peter raised his eyebrows. Neal blew air through his lips, frustrated.

"Are you feeling all right?" Peter asked carefully.

Peter raised an eyebrow. "You're not usually that upset when people don't get caught," he pointed out.

"She should be," Neal said. He looked...almost angry. "You shouldn't -- it's just -- it's not right," he said. "It...look we, they, whatever, what I used to be, we have an image to uphold. We have a reputation. Someone like that, doing that, it's wrong. She needs to be stopped."

Peter set the file down and looked at Neal curiously. "How do you know it's not her?"

Neal met his stare with defiance. "Because I met Carmen Sandiego, and that woman is not Carmen Sandiego."
