aNobii: Create, Share, and Explore booklists
A bookshelf site, like Goodreads, Librarything (and possibly more). Looks good, but I can never remember to update these things.

The Agrippa Files
"Agrippa (a book of the dead) appeared in 1992 as a collaboration between artist Dennis Ashbaugh, author William Gibson, and publisher Kevin Begos, Jr." It included pages that faded over time, and a Gibson poem that "ran from a diskette once before encrypting itself into oblivion".

PostSpectacular: Faber Finds generative book covers
"A year ago Faber & Faber commissioned me to help with the design of a software system to generate complete & print ready book covers for their new imprint. The challenge proved to be more of a creative than a technical one, as the task given was to build a “design machine” which would be flexible enough to generate a very large (theoretically infinite) number of unique designs, one for each single book ever printed in this range, within the agreed boundaries set by the art direction(s) of Faber design team."

bkkeepr | Track your reading and bookmark on the go
Interesting Twitter-based way of tracking your reading. Though I just sent it a typo-ridden ISBN number. Oops.

Goodreads | get book recommendations from people you know
I just signed up to this very pretty and slick site to keep track of what I'm reading/want to read. Not sure I'll use the social aspects, but if anyone's already using it, let me know.

Junot Díaz - The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao - Books - Review - New York Times
Doug got me this for my birthday. Read it in a day, found it to be good fun but poorly structured and with a complete flop of an ending - reading the reviews after the fact, I'm mystefied by the hype.

A review of Borges: A Life, by Edwin Williamson. (Well, kind of a review, more an extended synopsis.)

What Should I Read Next?  [404]
Nice enough idea, but I've entered a whole slew of favourite books and all the suggestions are books I've already read (which is not to say that I'm well read, rather that this site isn't very good. Or maybe too good, I'm not sure.)

Charlie's Diary - Shop for Scandal  [404]
I normally say, 'Well, duh' when folk are sacked for weblogging, but this seems like a case of a weblog being used for 'evidence' after a sacking was decided on. Similar thing happened to a friend of mine, with a better outcome.

Where to Find Digital Lit
Nice line: The worst lit bloggers sound like what you'd get if you seated the title characters from ''Heathers'' around the Algonquin Round Table and gave them a photo of Zadie Smith on a bad hair day.
