Nearly all of his life, Tony DiNozzo had known that he was only weakly latent and would probably never come online. As he's comfortable with himself and not terribly interested in change, it comes as a shock when an intimate moment during a sexcation with an old friend turns his life on its head. Out of the blue, his sleeping potential awakens ... and immediately draws the attention of the Alpha Prime Pair of North America. From there on out, it's one surprise after another for Tony, not all of them good, and he has to decide whether going through with his emergence is worth the promise of finding something beautiful on the horizon.

Tony had a gut feeling; Gibbs followed him because he knew Tony's gut wouldn't lie! They had no idea, though, that if, for once, they'd ignored that gut feeling, they would've been able to prevent a chain of events that followed it. Tony's Father is in town and with his presence, some long buried secrets are uncovered. Long story short, it's not fun being Tony, and Gibbs might just have to shoot the bastard. My take on Season 7 Episode Flesh and Blood, in which Daddy DiNozzo is not as pleasant as depicted in the show. Lots of angst and some whump. Poor, poor Tony. Please heed the warnings!

Tony DiNozzo was used to his life changing unexpectedly. A broken leg in college turned him in the direction of becoming a police officer, a gunshot wound that nearly crippled him brought him to forensics, and now, coming online as a guide was going to take him someplace a little vicious.

The whole team is coming for Thanksgiving dinner, including Tony's wayward father. Before anyone arrives, Tony barrels in, and tells Gibbs he thinks his father had something to do with a murder case they just solved.

Tony receives a surprise late-night visitor who brings unwelcome news about the return of an enemy and a potential threat to those closest to him. The news and realization that it's time to move out of Gibbs’ shadow set the wheels in motion for his departure from NCIS. But first, a round of goodbyes and a confrontation with Gibbs that's been put off for far too long.
