Playfic
"Playfic simply takes the game source you enter and passes it to the commandline Inform 7 compiler, and views it in the browser using the open-source Parchment interpreter that plays the games. Playfic's just the social glue tying them together."

24 Hours of Inform
Back for 2009, partly because I didn't have time to enter IFComp this year. "The game must begin in a setting (world, society, organisation, etc.) which has completely ceased to exist by the end. "

Grumpy Gamer - Stuff and Things and Monkey Island
Ron Gilbert's commentary on a Monkey Island playthrough, 20 years on. "OK, I'm going to admit that I was completely stumped by the grog puzzle. [...] I found several puzzles would give me pause because I'd remember some previous unimplemented version of them and it would throw me off track."

DESCRIBE ONLINE – MAKING IT EASIER THROUGH TEXT
Impressively exhaustive text descriptions of real-world locations in Britain, for the blind to use in place of maps. Tube stations and high streets; shops and room contents. It reads completely like the source code of a text adventure.

Double Fine Action News - Just One More Grim Thing
"In a temporary fit of Cake-induced Grim [Fandango] nostalgia, I dug up the old puzzle document for the game. It’s 72 pages long and this file is 2.3M so it’s not for the feint of heart, or low of bandwidth."

Good News, Everyone! - rec.arts.int-fiction | Google Groups
An April 1st launch for a genuine MUD/Inform hybrid, with source code editable through a web interface. Adventures seem to run as separate "realms", into which you can throw any old Inform code, even a cut-and-pasted standalone adventure. Nicely done.

Nearly Departed
A point-and-click adventure in the SCUMM style; a zombie investigating his own death is a great premise, but the puzzles are completely arbitrary, and the interface is so over-simplified that it's easy to solve them by mistake.

Inform 7
Astonishing revamp of Inform, wrapping it with a *natural language parser* (although it looks a lot more familiar once the examples get more complicated). IF programming becoming more of an adventure in itself. Might give this a go for IFComp this year.
