Regular Bold Italic
Staat is a high contrast serif, with sharp cuts at the terminals and pointy serifs. Therefore it has a modern look and strong characteristics. Staat comes in Bold & Bold-italic with a basic latin character set (310 glyphs). It has opentype features and a few ligatures to optimise the overall rhythm. The ‘f’ and ‘j’ are intentionally short, so there won’t appear gaps when you will use it on the web. The typeface is spaced & kerning tightly.

This time, partnered with some elite design/animation majors: Ash Thorp, Navarro Parker, Paul Beaudry, Ben Meyers, Ryan Cashman and Allisdair Wilson. We output a small grip-load of design and animation of volumetric, holographic and glass displays that were placed everywhere in this very special movie adaptation.

8 Sass mixins you must have in your toolbox
At their core, Sass mixins are blocks of code that you define once and can then re-use anywhere, if you are familiar with any programming language you can think of them as functions. A mixin can take multiple parameters and make calls to functions to in the end output CSS, and they are super useful when you want really clean and DRY code.
Some of the mixins below are already included in the Compass library, but since I prefer not to use Compass in my projects, I decided to write them myself.

So, here are the 8 mixins I think every developer should have in their toolbox.

Vertical align anything with just 3 lines of CSS
The CSS property transform is usally used for rotating and scaling elements, but with its translateY function we can now vertically align elements. Usually this must be done with absolute positioning or setting line-heights, but these require you to either know the height of the element or only works on single-line text etc.
