Innovation Isn't an Idea Problem - David Burkus - Harvard Business Review
In addition, it's a system based on the assumption that everyone in the company already has great ideas and the market just makes them better at finding those ideas. It's not an idea-solution; it's a recognition-solution.

ECHTZEITGEIST — 1.

Edelman - Themes Trump Trends for Sustained Engagement
This is the time of year when the world’s digital pundits post their annual trends outlooks. Some may actually come true. My favorites (thus far, though it’s still early days) for 2013 are from Peter Kim, Millward Brown and Edelman’s own David Armano. That said, perhaps the most salient piece I’ve read lately in regards where we are and where we are likely headed was Mary Meeker’s State of the Web deck, released last week.

11 Predictions for B2B Social Media in 2011 | Social Media B2B
"In 2010 social media made huge advances in B2B companies, but based on our review of our 2010 predictions, the adoption curve was not as steep as we anticpated. There have been lots of surveys indicating that spending on social media will grow, so we will not predict that, because we already know it is happening. "
