one earth
"One Earth (OE) sees a not-so-distant future when humanity and the natural world coexist in harmony. Instead of pockets of nature in a human-controlled world, we envision a thriving wilderness dotted by green cities of the future. By 2050, more than two-thirds of the world’s population will live in cities, creating an unprecedented opportunity to protect our natural resources, while providing access to clean air and water, healthy food, and sustainable livelihoods for all people.
OE Campaign plan that tackles three of the world’s greatest problems — climate change, biodiversity loss, and food and water security. It seeks to ensure the resilience of our biosphere through a three-pillar strategy: 100% clean, renewable energy; conservation of 50% of our lands and oceans; and a shift to regenerative, carbon-negative agriculture globally by 2050.
The OE Climate Model is the first to show the enormous social, environmental, and economic benefits of a rapid transition to 100% renewable energy combined with a portfolio of Natural Climate Solutions (NCS) that achieve an estimated 500 billion tonnes of negative emissions, enough to bring our climate back into balance.
Geospatial computations conducted in the environmental sector, incorporating a wide range of data sets to create a global map called the OE Safety Net, which shows how we can secure the integrity of our biosphere. The map is organized by 190 bioregions: groupings of terrestrial, freshwater and marine ecoregions that allow for an analysis of the interdependencies between energy production, environmental conservation, and food and water access in each region."

Solar Impulse Foundation - Bridging the gap between ecology and economy
"One of the first to envision ecology through the lens of profitability, Bertrand Piccard has always advocated that protection of the environment would become a reality only if it was perceived as economically viable and requiring no financial or behavioural sacrifices. He actively speaks out against the absurdity of old and polluting devices and systems, and promotes the benefits of new existing efficient technologies and solutions to motivate governments and industries to take action. A way to prove that solving climate change – rather than an expensive problem – is a fantastic market opportunity."

One of the main programs of the Solar Impulse Foundation is their Label:

"For the first time a label proves the economic profitability of solutions that protect the environment
selecting 1,000 solutions that protect the environment in a profitable way and awarding them the Solar Impulse Efficient Solutions Label.

This label serves as a new and credible symbol that can be applied to products, processes and services and serves as a guarantee of quality to those looking to implement clean solutions, and affords a competitive edge to the innovators behind them.

Assessed by independent experts for their technological feasibility, environmental and socio-economic benefits, and economic profitability, a portfolio of these solutions will be brought to decision-makers to encourage them to adopt much more ambitious environmental targets and energy policies."

Bottle top
About from profile on fashionrevolution.org:

In 2012, Cameron Saul and Oliver Wayman founded the Bottletop Fashion Company, a luxury accessories brand that serves as the business arm of the Bottletop Foundation.

The Bottletop Foundation empowers disadvantaged young people to take control of their lives through health education and vocational training projects; in turn supporting their wider communities. It enables projects in Brazil, Africa and the United Kingdom.

To date, it has addressed drug abuse and reproductive health issues with nearly 35,000 young people worldwide. The founders describe The Bottletop Foundation as being at the heart of everything Bottletop does. It was the spark that started their journey and is a continual source of inspiration for their work.

The vast majority of the foundation’s activity is in Rio and São Paulo where Bottletop’s atelier is based. The workshop is staffed by local artisans who make the luxury handbags, using traditional crafting skills they learned while on the training and development programmes the foundation has supported in the favelas. In addition to learning a new skill, the women earn a fair wage and have access to private health benefits. The training programs enable skilled artisans to join them, supporting themselves and their families in the process."

One of their investors is London-based Chinese Wendy Yu from Yu Capital.
