About Us | The Digital Game Museum
Our office and collection storage in at 3553 Ryder Street, Santa Clara, CA. We don’t have enough space to put up exhibits, so we show exhibits at events like Maker Faire Bay Area, PAX Prime, and others, and we place small exhibits in interesting places. We hope to move to a space that will include changing exhibits and game play space in the near future. To do that, we need your financial support and the support of corporations. Can you help?

enoughalready » San Francisco Is Eating Itself
It’s just such a bummer to see a place that I remember as openminded, laid back, creative, nonjudgmental erupting with all this anger, everyone pointing fingers, blaming people that really aren’t to blame. Come on, guys. You’re better than this.

Caltrain goes broke, will likely wipe out weekend, night and midday trains - San Jose Mercury News
"Caltrain has gone broke and will likely need to wipe out half its service — including weekend, nighttime and midday trains — officials warned Thursday, bracing passengers for a major shake-up to the popular commuter line that links San Francisco to the South Bay.

"This is not an April Fools' joke," Caltrain CEO Mike Scanlon told the agency's board of directors. "This is real. We're at a watershed moment where there's a possibility this railroad could go away.""

Pez Suing Burlingame Museum of Pez Memorabilia
"Pez Candy Inc. is suing the Burlingame Museum of Pez Memorabilia over copyright infringement. The suit, filed last week, claims that the museum deceives the public into believing they are operating under the authority of Pez and asks that the museum’s 7 foot tall replica of Pez dispenser be destroyed. The lawsuit also takes issue with the museum’s sales of toy truck Pez dispensers which had been modified with Obama and McCain logos during last years elections. The museum has been opened since 1995 and is said to be the only place in the world were you can see every Pez dispenser ever made."

Charlie's Diary: A revolting proposition
"Here's a good diagnostic test for whether a proposed law is bigoted: if it applies to a group of people, replace the subject group in question with "Jews" or "Blacks", and see how it reads. If Adolf Hitler or the Grand Cyclops would approve, then it's a fair bet that there's something fishy about it. In the case of Proposition 8, how would you vote if it read, "Only marriage between Christians is recognized in California"? Or "Only marriage between white-skinned people is recognized in California"? "

Judge says UC can deny religious course credit
"A federal judge says the University of California can deny course credit to applicants from Christian high schools whose textbooks declare the Bible infallible and reject evolution. ... Rejecting claims of religious discrimination and stifling of free expression, U.S. District Judge James Otero of Los Angeles said UC's review committees cited legitimate reasons for rejecting the texts - not because they contained religious viewpoints, but because they omitted important topics in science and history and failed to teach critical thinking."
