[WPF] How to bind to data when the DataContext is not inherited
This solved a problem for me with control of DataGrid Column visibility via Data Binding. Did not test/research/profile this extensively, but for my problem this worked like a charm.

Bighorn Sheep in the Santa Catalina Mountains
This doc is a AZ Game and Fish proposal for the reintroduction of Bighorn sheep - but the interesting thing is that it is the best summary I have ever come across of the history and study of the Bighorn in the Catalina Mountains and the picture of 20+ sheep together in the mountains is the only picture I have ever seen like that!

Gmvault Gmail Backup
Kind of like this - email would be pretty critical to loose - this may be sort of a classic: I am sure that the number of accounts totally lost by google is not statistically significant, but if they loose 1 account in the entire life of the company and it is yours that would certainly be hugely personally significant... While the access options to Gmail make it possible to backup via another account the idea of keeping labels and having file system access seems like pretty nice details.

SATRO™ PLB-110
This page added for the SATRO™ PLB-110 - not on the market yet it looks like it meets the claims that it is will be the smallest/lightest PLB (in the most pack friendly shape I think) if it ever becomes available. Fastest Known Time - Home
I kind of love this - a simple bulletin board system put to use to track the 'Fastest Known Time' for trails and routes such as the Grand Canyon R2R (and R2R2R and...), Arizona Trail, Grand Enchantment Trail... Both completely amusing and absurd to look at the times - and fun to see people just getting something done without regard for cool tech/latest and greatest.

A .NET shop that has several products - R2P is a Resharper plugin that costs $10 and adds some nice Actions and Refactorings, notable some related to INotifyPropertyChanged (it is easy enough to do a template or maybe structural find/replace - but R2P implements it just the way I want and via alt-enter - going the last 1% to make this work just the way I want is worth $10). There other product is a cool MathML to .NET code converter and the have a place holder for an F# Resharper plugin!

T-SQL String Aggregate in SQL Server | Code Corner
This is a pretty awesome tip/technique/snippet that uses the Sql XML functions to aggregate strings without any outside functions, Sql CLR, temp tables etc...

This may not please the purists (take a look and you will see what I mean...) but pretty beautiful quick solution...

A great tip that points out the ListBox's internal handling of Control-A for select all can be manipulated by reassigning the key combination (this is slightly more puzzling than it seems at first glance since I think the first place to look is an event/command - not reassigning the keyboard combo).

I have never contacted the owner of the page and - beyond the obvious - I am not sure whose page this is (although it is possible that one of my Aunts would know from her own research).
